Our standard repair process typically requires 3 to 5 business days, depending on part availability. If a part is on backorder, the repair may take a little longer than usual. We’re committed to keeping you updated throughout the process and minimizing any delays.
Once a repair is completed and the client has approved the order cost, cancellations are no longer possible. The client will be responsible for charges as follows:
If payment is not received, the unit may either be recycled or sold to recover the outstanding charges.
We take great care in handling old parts to ensure a cost-effective and eco-friendly process. Here’s how it works:
If you have any questions regarding repairs, feel free to reach out to our team for assistance.
If a unit remains in our facility for more than six months without any response or prior notification from the client, it may be recycled or disposed of. If the client declines a repair and requests the return of the unit, we will promptly email an invoice for the return shipping. If the invoice is not paid within six months, the same disposal rules will apply. Additionally, if the camera is recoverable, there will be fees that need to be paid.
Return shipping for repairs is always free within the United States. However, this free shipping does not include expedited services and does not allow customers to select a preferred carrier. Please note, any items or orders left at our facility without notification for over 90 days are not the responsibility of US Camera Repair.
If a unit remains in our facility for six months or more without a response or prior notification from the client, we reserve the right to recycle or dispose of it. For clients who decline a repair and request the return of their unit, an invoice for return shipping will be sent via email. If this invoice is unpaid after six months, the disposal policy will apply. Additionally, recoverable cameras will require payment for repair fees before the unit can be returned.
